Welcome

Ken Lynch lived a long and rich life. From his childhood in Indiana, to education at Purdue, military service in World War II, marriage, raising five kids and an extended career in the sciences, he had stories to tell, and stories that he lived with friends and colleagues, and with his extended family scattered across the country. As people of Irish descent, we hope to follow the Irish tradition of sharing stories of our friend, colleague, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin. Though some of you may live far away, we invite you to share your stories, by leaving them in the comments below, or by emailing them to

fyrebyrd DOT drkenlynch AT blogger DOT com

Replace the word "dot" in the address with a period "." and the word AT with the "@" sign. Your stories will not appear immediately, as we will have to screen them for spam and advertising, although letters from government ministers or generals promising good fortune after giving out bank account details might be left in so we can all have a good laugh. If you have pictures to share, email them to Jane at odellj_wi AT yahoo DOT com.

Lets celebrate Ken's journey through this life and on to the next!
