85th Birthday
Here is a picture kindly donated by Jeff T. showing Ken on his 85th birthday. Dad was amazed to reach the age he did, and if I think about all the changes he saw in his life, I am amazed too. When he was a kid, they still heated their house with wood, as he told us he was punished for melting a new pair of shoes by propping his feet up on the stove.
